Capscan Enhances Matchcode For Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM With International Data
New, fully-customisable version of plug-in adds international address data for 190 countries
Capscan, a leading provider of international address management solutions and data integrity services, today announced that it has added international data for 190 countries to the new version of its Matchcode for Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM plug-in. It ensures that UK and international contact databases contain high quality address data, improving the effectiveness of international marketing campaigns and supporting enterprise data quality management strategies.
Matchcode for Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM supports address data for 190 countries worldwide as well as UK commercial data. It enables contact centres and sales and marketing teams to improve forward planning of international campaigns, develop better customer service and achieve a comprehensive view of the customer base, through the accurate capture and validation of international contact data within the market leading CRM platform.
“Matchcode for Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM not only ensures address data is accurate it also formats it to the correct country standard, of which there are over 120 worldwide,” says Managing Director of Capscan, Terry Hiles. “This offers benefits such as an improved company image, a reduction in mailing costs as a result of fewer undeliverables, a lower risk of identity fraud and better customer service.”
The plug-in, which uses IFRAME technology to deliver better integration with Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM, provides a dedicated search and clear button for each individual address required on a form within the system (billing address, shipping address etc). This saves users a click per address validation, as they do not need to specify the address that is being validated. It also has a fully customisable front end so that it may be tailored to the specific requirements of the company or user.
The new version of the software also features several improvements to usability. Users can now access a drop-down list to reference multiple data sets when validating addresses, such as Royal Mail’s Postcode Address File (PAF) and D&B commercial data. Previously, technical staff would have been required to perform this on the back end. This ensures that the system returns the most relevant results, further improving the quality of the database.
The plug-in also enables contact data enhancement with other datasets including Experian National Canvasse names data, Local Authority data and Geocodes (latitude and longitude coordinates of an address), aiding market segmentation and targeting amongst other processes. Matchcode for Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM is compatible with a wide range of platforms including Windows 2003 and 2008 and the new Windows 7 system using versions of Internet Explorer (IE) which supports Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM.
